The Second Amendment was enshrined in our Constitution for a very important reason...that is because our founders knew that power corrupts and they wanted to guarantee that the right of self defense could not be stripped from American citizens!
If our self-appointed rulers wish to eliminate the second amendment, or even infringe upon it, then they must go through the process to amend the Constitution, not just legislate it away!
PLEASE CALL SENATOR KIRK RIGHT AWAY AND LET HIM KNOW THAT A VOTE FOR ANY ADDITIONAL GUN CONTROL IS A VOTE IN VIOLATION OF HIS OATH OF OFFICE AND AGAINST THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE OF ILLINOIS!
