IL 'Shall Issue' Concealed Carry Vote TOMORROW

View this email in your browser Your calls made a major difference in the senate today!!!  Seven gun-control bills were voted on today and all seven were defeated.  Two more will be discussed and voted on tomorrow!  See a summary HERE Reid and Obama Issue New Threat Watch it Live on C-Span ILLINOIS CONCEALED CARRY UPDATE Today, the IL House voted against the 'may issue' concealed carry bill.  This is good news.  May issue would allow some bureaucrat to decide if you 'may' have a permit.  Tomorrow (Thursday) they are expected to vote on the 'Shall Issue' bill--HB 0997.  THIS is the bill we want to pass!  Please see the ISRA alert and call your state rep right away.  Let them know that you support HB 0997.  It is a concealed carry bill which contains common-sense provisions for training and permitting, fair fees and is not overly burdensome on law-abiding gun owners.      Call your State Representative and urge them to support HB 0997!!! 217-782-2000 ILLINOIS STATE RIFLE ASSOCIATION ALERT HB 0997, the ISRA supported version of Concealed Carry will be coming up for a vote at any time. It is urgently important that you take action immediately.  HERE IS WHAT YOU NEED TO DO TO GET THIS BILL PASSED: 1.
