View this email in your browser As Valentine's Day approaches, I wanted to take a moment to focus on some of the things that our Government seems to LOVE about everyday, middle class Americans like us!  Our Government loves us SO much that they're always looking for ways to make life easier on us!  They work so hard to pass responsible budgets so that they can keep our tax burdens low--oops!  My mistake, it has been 1,383 days since they did that!  OK.  They love us so much that they want to make sure we have the tools we need to protect ourselves and our families--uh oh...that's not right, either...they are trying to TAKE AWAY that ability by banning our guns!  Let's see...OH!  I've Got one!  They Love us SO much that they want to make sure we are free to worship and run our businesses based on our own right of conscience...ooh...not quite!  I forgot about that whole birth-control-mandate-thingy.  Hmmm...I Know!  Our Federal Government wants us to know they respect our privacy!  Argh!  Almost forgot about all those pesky drones spying on farmers in Nebraska and Iowa!  Well, at least they are open and honest with us about the threats we face from hostile terror groups...shoot...what was it they were saying about us tea-party types???  Oh, yeah...we are possible terrorists if we are returning vets, love the constitution or believe in free market principles!  While we may not be feelin the love from our ever-growing, freedom-stomping government,  I am going to tell you what I love about that Government!  I love the fact that it was designed by our founding fathers to have limited authority over our daily lives.  I love the fact that it is still intact and can be restored to its rightful place!  The founders were brilliant and crafted a guiding document that sought to constrain the government and keep it off our backs!  I love the fact that the Constitution of the United States of America is still as relevant today as it was 100 years ago.  Unfortunately, the century long progressive campaign has done a lot of damage and caused folks to lose sight of those wonderful truths!  But, I have Faith that (thanks to liberty-loving folks like you) we will persevere and set this nation back on the path to freedom and opportunity! Happy Valentine's Day, Patriots! Now, let's remind our elected representatives how much we love this great nation by sharing our opinions with them on all sorts of topics in the coming months!!!
