The parental rights amendment is an important step to retaining the fundamental right to raise our children as WE believe is best, without allowing the government (or the United Nations) to determine the "best interests" of OUR children!  Please take a moment TODAY and call the subcommittee members listed below to urge them to support this amendment!

Thank you for your continued committment to being part of the solution!

Make an Historical Call Today

Tomorrow will be a tremendous, historical day for the Parental Rights Amendment. Tomorrow the House Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution will hold a hearing on HJRes110, the proposed Parental Rights Amendment (PRA).

This hearing is a chance to get the facts into the congressional record, and an opportunity to speak to those congressmen who perhaps have not listened to our concerns before.

That's why I am urging you today, if your congressman is listed below, to please take a moment to call and encourage him to consider the merits of the Parental Rights Amendment. It will only take you a few minutes, and it can shape constitutional history.

These are the subcommittee members who are not currently cosponsors of HJRes110:

Rep. Steve Chabot (R-OH-1) 202-225-2216 (pledged support of the PRA)
Rep. John Conyers (D-MI-14) 202-225-5126
Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-NY-8) 202-225-5635
Rep. Mike Pence (R-IN-6) 202-225-3021 (cosponsored HJRes42 last Congress)
Rep. Mike Quigley (D-IL-5) 202-225-4061
Rep. Bobby Scott (D-VA-3) 202-225-8351

The vast majority of us cannot call because we are not in these districts. So if you live in one of these districts, please call on behalf of all of us who cannot! These men need to know that their constituents care deeply about this issue.

In your own words, you can give them a message such as this:

As a parent, I care deeply about what is best for my child. No one knows and loves my child more than I do, so no one is better able to make decisions for my child than I am. Our freedom in this nation depends on the liberty to raise our children as we see fit. But as support for that liberty is disappearing in our courts, we absolutely must preserve our parental rights in the text of the Constitution. Please attend this important hearing of your subcommittee tomorrow and listen closely to those who call for a Parental Rights Amendment. I agree with them, and I believe you will, too. When you have the chance, please vote in favor of HJRes110, the Parental Rights Amendment. Thank you.

When you call, please be courteous and gracious. Remember, you are representing our entire movement when you call.

Witness History

This hearing is open to the public. So, if you are going to be in the D.C. area tomorrow, you can witness history unfold while showing your support for the Amendment!

The hearing will be in room 2141 in the Rayburn House Office Building on Independence Avenue. It will start at 12:30 p.m., so plan to be there up to an hour in advance to get a good seat. I would love to see you there!

Sincerely,

Michael Ramey
