Rock Falls Public Library We will be joined by special guests
Marilyn Dent and Claire Van Horn of Honest Elections Illinois Marilyn and Claire will present us with ways that each of us can help guarantee honest elections in Illinois and will share with us the actions their group is already taking to engage voters in the process and make sure the system works as it should. Voter fraud occurs in every election. In fact, 46 states have prosecuted cases of voter fraud, including four party officials in Indiana, a sheriff in West Virginia, 38 Virginians netted in a state police investigation, and a political operative in Maryland.
Voter ID laws are being challenged and states that are trying to eliminate voter fraud are being sued by the Obama administration! It is up to each of us to do our part to make sure every legitimate vote is counted and only those eligible to vote are able to do so!
I know summer is a very busy time, but I urge you
to bring a friend or family member with you

Nationwide Food Drive Conservatives are often accused by the left of being uncaring and greedy. You and I
know that is not the case! Just because we believe the government should not take
our money to give away as they see fit, does not mean that we do not believe in
helping our neighbors.
Advocating for smaller government means that we need to step up and help those less
fortunate than ourselves. We need to show people that we can and will do what is
necessary to fill the needs in our communities. Please check out Mercury One's
food drive efforts.
I think this is a very exciting
(and EASY) way to get involved! Whiteside County Planning
and Zoning Hearing Whiteside Planning and Zoning Hearing on the Special Use Permit Request for nine
turbines in Whiteside County as part of the pending Green River Wind Farm wrapped up
last Wednesday with closing comments from local residents. Due to a recent IL law which
states that the County Board must take action on items referred to them from their
committees within 30 days, the Zoning Committee has scheduled their next
meeting and discussion on this hearing for Aug. 1, 2012. The meeting will be held
at the Rock Falls Community Building, 7pm

We are seeking folks to commit to helping plan and schedule events and meetings, brainstorm topics and invite speakers. If we get several people involved in this effort, it will minimize the workload on each person and allow us to be more effective in our efforts. I can't continue to do it all on my
own, folks! I need your help! If you are on this mailing list, you know that things are not going well in our nation. You are concerned enough to pay attention, but will you step up and actually help us preserve liberty for our children and grandchildren?
