"He who controls the past, controls the future.
He who controls the present, controls the past."
Progressives figured out long ago that to bring their agenda to fruition, they must change the way Americans think. The most likely way to succeed in that effort is to take over the educational system and re-program our children.
We are now learning about their next step in the process! CScope and Common Core are the new curriculum being pushed nationwide by the federal government. These curriculum change the way our children are being taught, as well as what they are being taught. For instance, Capitalism is the bottom step on the staircase (guess what's at the top!), 9/11 was our own fault, the Boston Tea Party was a terrorist act. Common historical heroes have also been replaced by progressive 'heroes'.
Not only have they distorted our nation's history, but parents are being kept in the dark about what their children are being taught. As if these things weren't bad enough, these programs set up over 400 data points that teachers are to track on your children! Information such as disciplinary actions, friends, habits, likes and dislikes...even their school bus stops!
Think your child is excluded because they go to a private or charter school? Think again! Common Core will eventually be required for private and charter schools as well as home-school curriculum.
This is a critical issue that we must all get involved in! Contact your school board members and tell them that you do not want common core standards in your child's school! Educate yourselves and make sure that you know exactly what is happening with our nation's educational system! |
