Our February meeting was a nice departure from politics!
Sean and Kelly McKee allowed us the opportunity to see many of the emergency preparedness items available through Shelf Reliance. They also brought many varieties of freeze-dried foods for us to sample. I was quite surprised at how good everything tasted right out of the can. Can you imagine eating chicken salad made out of freeze-dried chicken? I couldn't, but it was very tasty! I also really like the idea of the yogurt, fruit and vegetables as a tasty alternative to snack foods made out of over-processed foods filled with preservatives. Let our out-of-touch, freedom-grabbing politicians in Springfield know that you will no longer tolerate their infringements upon your God-Given, Constitutionally Protected right to self defense! The second amendment does NOT say that your right to "keep and BEAR arms" stops at your property line! If you can participate, this is a worthy cause!
