October Meeting The details for our October meeting are still up in the air...we will update you when we have them sorted out! The meeting will be on October 25 at 6:30pm as already scheduled, but the location and topic are yet to be determined. Thank you to everyone who joined us for our September Meeting We had a great turnout for our September meeting! Over 75 folks showed up to meet with Congressman Schilling, even though the paper mistakenly printed the meeting location! Lots of new faces as well! Congressman Schilling shared some stories with us from his time in Washington and answered questions from the audience.
We also heard from Bill Albracht, candidate for Illinois' 36th Senatorial District, Jon Hinton, candidate for Whiteside County Board (District 3), Kurt Glazier, candidate for Whiteside County Board (District 1), and a representative for Liandro Arrellano, SVTP member and candidate for Illinois' 90th Representative District.
Mr. Albracht fought bravely in the Vietnam War, served the past 7 Presidents as a member of the Secret Service and worked as head of corporate security for Ford Motor Company. We hope to have him join us again so that we can discuss state issues with him. He is a proven leader and a man with the courage to stand strong against any opposition.
