October Meeting Location

October Meeting 6:30pm Tuesday, October 25th 312 E. 4th Street, Sterling This is a large, brown-brick building next door to the Sterling Post Office.  It was formerly King's Den and more recently the Abiding Word Christian Center.  We will be joined by Bob Sondgeroth who will give us an update on the status of Quinn's line item veto which eliminated pay for all Regional Superintendents of Schools. We will also discuss the Occupy Wallstreet protests.  Plus, Liandro Arrellano, candidate for the 90th State Representative district  and James Ruddell, candidate for Whiteside County Board will be on hand to speak with you at the meeting. Next month we hope to have a panel with all the candidates running for Jerry Mitchell's open seat in the new 90th Representative district.
